Cool!!! My sleeve made it onto Shock Mansion (a cool blog I follow) which was a real surprise. Well, Judd Ripley did but I happen to have some of his work……. but i’m pretty sure they would have not covered him if they had not seen me sleeve.  :P

Now tell me, how cool is this!

My buddy Stew is helping out with the project (he another local toy nerd like me) and he did a fantastic job taking the drawing the little boy made of his hero and making it come to life as a one of a kind figure. Stew did a really subtle two-tone red color scheme that isn’t done justice by this picture. It looks great here but in person its stunningly good! I know the little boy who designed this is gonna flip when he sees this for sure.

Thanks to Stew for being a hero and helping make this project a reality.

As always thanks again for stopping by and taking an interest in the project and thanks for helping us grow. If you would like to be a part of the Healing Heroes Project and want to make a donation please visit our FAQ Page for more information about donations. If you cant make a donation why not spread the word? You can help us keep this project going by simply telling people about it. Post a link on your facebook wall, send out an email with a picture of one of the heroes or just tell some folks at work, every little bit helps. Word of mouth not only potentially helps us with donations but also will help get the word out and hopefully inspire others to take on projects like this in their own towns and cities.

Come back every Monday and Friday for updates and look for some really interesting things to start showing up on the site as we get more families involved and can hopefully share their stories with you.

This is the moment everyone has been waiting for and one I am proud to finally be able to share with everyone, the inaugural offering in the Healing Heroes Project, I give to you Supernurse

As before I’m still waiting on the go ahead to post information about the little girl that created this hero and information about her hero. As soon as I get the green light I will make a post containing all that information to help flesh out the story behind this hero. So until we get the skinny on who this lovely lady is we are gonna stick with Supernurse.

This is the first hero to be made as part of the Healing Heroes Project and I am proud as hell of it and the project itself. Hopefully I can keep this going for as long as my hands, eyes and mind are able.

If you dont know about Healing Heroes then go check it out.. NOW!
