Today is Friday and that means its time for a new hero to take the stage and make their grand entrance!
Each week The Healing Heroes Project tries to bring you something special. We work with MCV (Medical College of Virginia) and the children there receiving treatment (for various forms of cancer) to showcase the childrens hero designs. MCV doesn’t cover any of the cost involved in keeping THHP running, this is something I came up with on my own and incur all cost associated with running THHP and keeping it going.
To keep THHP going I create and sell custom toys online through either commission work or online auction. I am not currently employed so this is the only income I have and this is how I fund THHP. Things have been, to say the least, dry lately so I’m asking for some help in keeping THHP above water.
If you would like to donate to THHP simply go to the front page and hit the PAYPAL button in the sidebar and make a donation. THHP is a completely nonprofit endeavor and any donations go to buying supplies that are used in creating the heroes the children design. Any donation is appreciated and goes a long way to keeping the project alive and in good health.
Thanks again for checking in with THHP as we bring you new heroes each week. Spread the word if you have a minute by reblogging our post, posting a link on your facebook page or tweeting a link back to the site. We thank you again for being a part of THHP and we will see you back here on Monday for more heroic action brought to you by the children at MCV and their boundless imaginations!
Alass I can not tell you these secrety secrets, but it is a very cool licensed theme. I’m working hard on the 2013 sets right now…. Hence the lack of posting of late.
The last stuff I worked on was the new Lord of the Rings line which will be knocking your socks off soon. :)
Yes I work for LEGO* at their HQ in Billund, Denmark. Its great, I get to make toys for a living so it’s kind of like being one of Santa’s elfs. Nowadays I don’t build as much because I am a Design Manager. This basically means I head up a small team of minions designers on a product line and oversee the overall design direction. So instead of messing up just one set I can now wreck a whole line. :P
*Well done for spelling it LEGO and not Legos
Get over to www.legosantayoda.com and send an e-card to some friends. Every e-card you send equals a LEGO gift sent to Toys For Tots. :)

I probably got about 5 of these in my younger years….. I still cant spell.
